We have developed a Smart BlindStick, an exciting and innovative college Engineering clinics project designed to enhance the independence and safety of visually impaired individuals. This intelligent mobility aid incorporates cutting-edge technologies to provide a comprehensive solution for the visually impaired. Equipped with ultrasonic sensors, water sensors, vibrating motors, alert buzzers,dark sensors, leds, and gyroscope sensors, the Smart BlindStick detects obstacles in the user's path and signals their presence to the people around them. Thereby, offering real-time feedback through haptic vibrations, audible alerts as well as automatic light activation in dark and alert generation during emergency situation. Its advanced GPS navigation system assists users in seamless wayfinding, ensuring accurate location awareness. With a lightweight and ergonomic design, the Smart BlindStick prioritizes user comfort and convenience. This project represents a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, empowering individuals with visual impairments to navigate their surroundings with greater confidence and autonomy.
